Hello! I am Name Visible on Login, a simple, uncomplicated guy born and raised in Mumbai, based in Seattle since 2018. I am a double master's degree holder, currently working as a Growth Marketing Manager for a Bay Area based tech company although I work remotely from Seattle. I feel a strong sense of affinity with Mumbai, but I see my future here in the United States, although I may be open to considering Canada (West Coast). Growing up in Mumbai, I was exposed to a very cosmopolitan atmosphere; at the same time I had a moderately traditional upbringing at home. Moving to the USA further enhanced my appreciation for different cultures and communities, broadened my perspective, and made me much more welcoming of everyone. In addition to Hindi, English, and my native Marwari, growing up I also picked up a lot of other Indian languages like Punjabi, Gujarati, and Marathi.

I'm a big time football... more (soccer) lover, avid hiker (hiked over 250kms in 2024), hobbyist musician, coffee connoisseur, reader, travel bug, and foodie :)

I am a teetotaler - I don't drink / smoke. I have no qualms if my future partner prefers an occasional drink - I don't mind being the designated driver!

FAMILY
My immediate family consists of my mom whom I am extremely close to (homemaker and runs a home boutique), my father (businessman dealing in import-export license) who informally taught me music and how to appreciate it, and my brother and bhabhi who are settled in Seattle, working for big tech giants. I am very close to them as well and have an extremely friendly rapport with them. A lot of my life now also revolves around my 15 month old niece. I have cousins across US and Canada that I am fond of and like to meet during my time off.

PROFESSIONAL BIO
I'm a good mix of right brained (creative) and left brained (analytical) person who found his professional calling in the field of digital marketing. I am very well educated, and have 2 masters (an MBA, and a Master's in Digital Media from the University of Washington). My profession and vocation is more a result of my passion rather than materialism.

INCLINATIONS
I am an artistically oriented person in my personal life. I make music in my free time and love to sing. Music, movies, and art help shape up a lot of my thinking, and they're pursuits that I deeply enjoy.I love listening to everything right from The Beatles to Jagjit Singh, and from RD Burman to Cold Play. I'm also very fond of movies, and you can expect me to dish out filmy dialogues here and there to make conversations light and fun.

I play and watch soccer, love to go for runs and hike, and enjoy reading and writing. Non-fiction books across history, crime thrillers, comedy, biographies appeal to me.

VALUES
I'm always looking for ways to self improve, gain sensitivity towards cultures and religions etc. It's been a long personal journey for me to start breaking those stereotypes after having grown up in a country where the media and society in general inherently like to type-caste. My partner should be respectful of my family, and one who would love the idea of us exploring the world, trying different cuisines, listening to music, and movies.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I've been a speaker at Cannes Lions, often referred to as the Oscars of Advertising. That remains a high point of my life. Besides that, I have been an academically brilliant student throughout undergrad, MBA, and the Master's program, winning various curricular and co-curricular awards. I was a very active musician during my high school and college days, and have been felicitated with several state level as well as national level awards. And last but not the least, I've represented my school and college in football (soccer) and won a few trophies. The trophies and awards are just a by-product of my devotion towards my hobbies.
